Anthony Edem Ayitey, Head of Compliance and AMLRO, brings extensive expertise in compliance and investment representation. Certified by the International Academy for Financial Management and licensed as an Investment Representative by the Securities and Exchange Commission, he boasts over twelve years of experience in Ghana’s Investment Banking Sector.

Having served as Compliance Officer for Liberty Asset Management Ltd and Liberty Securities Ltd, Anthony transitioned to NIMED Capital Ltd. in February 2018. There, he excels in ensuring regulatory compliance and upholding integrity standards, drawing from his deep understanding of capital market operations, laws, and regulations.

Anthony’s insights into market developments stem from years of dedicated service and continuous professional development. Beyond his professional roles, he contributed as a member of the National Risk Assessment committee twice and represented the Securities Sector during the visit by the International Co-operation Review Group (ICRG) in 2021, showcasing his leadership and expertise on national and international levels.

His academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Financial Markets Law and Regulations from the University of Ghana School of Law, paired with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, reflecting his commitment to mastering financial market legal and regulatory frameworks.
